 III. 2023 Payment Information

- League Fee: $135

- Deadline is is July, 23rd, 2023.

- All payments come to me, not to Fantrax. Do not pay the premium fee on Fantrax. Contact me for payment information.

Refunds - There are no refunds after the payment deadline unless the season is cancelled. If the season is cancelled at any point, any payouts due will be made. All remaining entry fees will be refunded minus those payouts. For example, if the season is cancelled right after our regular season ends, conference champions and CFP #1 will be paid out. The rest of the entry fees will be refunded evenly to all owners.

Cancellations

Conferences - If any conference in the player pool cancels at any point, the league will be cancelled.

Teams - If any team cancels the remainder of their games, the commissioner has sole discretion to cancel the league.

Games - If individual games are cancelled the commissioner has sole discretion to cancel the league.

 IV. 2023 League Setup

- There are 4 conferences of 12 owners, each with it's own player pool. AAC, ACC, Big10, Big12, Pac12, Sec and Independents are used.

- League conferences can be seen here.

- Playoffs are determined by conference standings and the CFP Rankings.

- The CFP Rankings are based on Win % then PF.

- The top 3 teams in each conference will receive auto-bids. The remaining 4 playoff spots will go to the highest ranked remaining teams in the CFP rankings. The CFP rankings will be used to seed the playoff.

- A combination of Win %, head to head and PF will determine a conference champion and the remaining 2 auto-bids. If 2 or more teams are tied for first, and they all have played each other, head to head will be the tiebreaker. If all tied teams have the same head to head record PF will be used to determine a conference champion. If 2 or more teams are tied in the standings and not all have played each other, PF will be the tiebreaker for all teams involved in the tie.

The playoff will be reseeded after each round. The highest remaining seed in the playoff will always play the lowest remaining seed in each round.

- The tiebreakers for tied teams in a playoff match up is total touchdowns scored by an owner's starting roster then total offensive yards gained by an owner's starting roster. Note that KR or a PR touchdown will count as 2 if you have that player's D/ST. If it is still tied the tiebreakers are, in order, most QB points, most combined RB, WR, WT and Flex points, most points by a defense and then most points by a kicker.

- An NIT tournament will include the top 16 teams who missed the playoffs. The winner of the NIT will win $150.

- 2 teams will be drawn at random and will be replaced. For example, if you were the 45th team in the rankings and you had 2 weeks where you started players on a bye, you would have 12 lotto balls. If you were the 7th ranked team and had 1 week where you started players on a bye, you would receive 5 balls and would be up for elimination.

The 48th ranked team in the rankings will receive 5 lotto balls

The 47th ranked team in the rankings will receive 4 lotto balls

The 46th ranked team in the rankings will receive 3 lotto balls

The 45th ranked team in the rankings will receive 2 lotto balls

The 44th ranked team in the rankings will receive 1 lotto ball

For every week an owner doesn't set a full roster they receive 5 lotto balls for every infraction. Any owner that has 0 lotto balls is safe from replacement. Past national champions are exempt from receiving lotto balls for finishing in the bottom 5, but not from starting players on a bye.

 V. 2023 Draft

- The draft will take place on Aug 27th at 7 PM ET.

- The draft order will be determined by using the random function in excel.

- Time Limits: The timer in the draft room will be set for 1.5 minutes. If the time limit is reached Fantrax will select a player for you from your queue. If your queue is empty, Fantrax will draft what it thinks is the best available player, which you DO NOT want to happen.

- The timer will be stopped for nobody and not stopped for any reason. Make sure you are prepared for the draft.

- Draft picks can be traded before the draft. The only stipulation is an owner would need to receive the same number of draft picks as are traded away.

- The maximum players an owner can have at a position are as follows QB 5 | RB 8 | WR 9 | TE 4 | K 4 | DST 4. Every team must be able to fill a starting roster and maintain that all year long which means an owner needs a minimum of one player from each position on his roster.

- Each conference's draft will be private, even to the commissioner.

- Visit the Draft page for more information.

 VI. 2023 Scoring

Visit the Scoring page for league scoring.

Scoring each week goes final after the kickoff of the first league game the following week. Changes to scoring can be made up until that point. If changes to scoring are made after that point, it will not be reflected in the standings or the CFP Rankings. Since the CFP is released Sunday morning, any scoring changes made by the website between then and the kickoff of the first CFP game the following week will need to be pointed out by a team's owner. They will not be automatically updated in the CFP

- Blocked FG's for TDs and blocked punts for TDs (whether it hits the punters foot or not) will be scored as touchdowns for an owner's D/ST. No points are awarded for the blocks.

- If there is a minor discrepancy between game video or play by play and what is scored on Fantrax, it's the job of the owner to convince Fantrax to change it. This would include yards and ball spots (e.g. it looks like an 8 yard run but was scored as a 7 yard run). If Fantrax missed a touchdown the score will be adjusted by the commissioner. All sacks, scored or unscored, are deferred to Fantrax. Whatever is scored on the website will be used.

- If there is a discrepancy between the scoring page on this site and the setting on Fantrax, the score in Fantrax will count.

- For other scoring clarifications see the Rosters section below.

 VII. 2023 Rosters

Starting Positions: 1 QB  |  2 RBs  |  3 WRs  |  1 WR/TE  |  1 RB/WR/TE  |  1 K  |  1 DST  |  12 Bench

Minimums: 1 QB  |  2 RBs  |  3 WRs  |  1 K  |  1 DST

Maximums: 5 QBs  |  8 RBs  |  11 WRs  |  4 Ks  |  4 DST

- The minimum for each position is in effect at all times following the draft, even in the offseason.

- Lineups lock 1 minute before each player's game. Once a player is locked in the lineup he cannot be substituted for any reason. If an owner is trying to make a change PRIOR to a player's game, but there are technical issues with Fantrax preventing an owner from doing so, the following needs to be done for the substitution to take place. PRIOR to the roster locking the commissioner (or committee member) must be emailed with who the owner wants to substitute for who. If that email is sent/received prior to the roster locking, the substitution will be made by the commissioner once Fantrax is working again. If the time stamp on the email is past the roster deadline, the substitution will also not take place.

- Player positions are set before the draft. Afterwards, a player's position is only changed if a player's position on a depth chart differs from Fantrax. Until a player is brought to a committee member, he can be picked up by other owners. Once a player is brought to a committee member, all unowned instances of that player will go on waivers (this will be for a very short period). A committee member cannot tell another committee member about the player. Once he does, the player goes on waivers wherever he is unowned. This, however, does not prevent one committee member from picking up the player based on seeing transaction history of another, or seeing the news himself.

- If a player is mistakenly listed as K and accumulates points there but doesn't kick, he will be substituted for a kicker on your roster. If there is no other kicker on your roster, you'll receive a 0 for kicker and your opponent will receive the league average in their points against for CFP purposes.

- If a kicker scores a touchdown in any way as the teams kicker, or if he was inserted into another position during the game, he will be awarded those points.

- If a skill position player attempts a field goal or extra point, he will be awarded those points.

- If a player is labeled an H-Back or team specific position (wildcat, wildlion) on a depth chart, the player's eligibility will be defaulted to what he's listed at on the roster. If he is listed as an H-Back or such position on the roster, his only eligible position will be Flex.

- If a player has dual eligibility on a depth chart, he will be eligible at both positions. However, if one of those positions is QB, he will only be eligible at QB.

 VIII. 2023 Transactions

Trades

- Trades process immediately. The Committee on Rules & Changes will review every trade. If a member of the committee feels a trade is unfair, they have the right to hear the justification from both parties. The commissioner has sole discretion to block trades if he feels there is collusion.

- The trade deadline is at the end of the regular season. No trades can be proposed after this time. Once an owner reaches 4 losses, they are no longer permitted to trade.

- Once a trade is accepted it is final. Changes will not be made for any reason once a trade is accepted.

Waivers

-  The waiver wire order will be the reverse order of round 1 of the draft right after the draft ends. From there, it will be based on claims made. When an owner executes a claim, that owner will drop to the end of the list. That owner will move up on that list as other owners execute claims afterwards and drop to the bottom of the list behind that owner. The order will never reset.

- The player pool will lock for each individual team as soon as their game starts and all free agents will go on waivers.

- Waivers will process Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:00 PM ET for dropped players. Any player dropped during the waiver process will be on waivers until the next process takes place. Players dropped during Friday's waivers process will be on waivers until the waivers process on the following Monday.

- Waivers will process at 8:00 PM ET for players locked at the time of their game on Monday.

- Any player picked up and dropped in the same week will not go on waivers. This will prevent owners from doing this on purpose after Friday's waiver process.

- Once waivers process on Monday the player pool will unlock until the start of each game the next week. Only players dropped during the week's waiver process will be on waivers until waivers process again. All other players will be free agents. When a free agent is dropped, that player goes on waivers until the next waiver process.

IX. 2023 Team & Player Pool

- The player pool is made up of teams and players from the AAC, ACC, Big XII, Big Ten, Pac12, SEC, and Notre Dame.

- Each conference in the league will have the entire player pool. This could cause a player being matched up against the same player in the playoffs.

 X. League Changes

- Click below to view any changes made to the league. This page is updated as changes are made.

League Changes

 XI. 2023 Voting Process

- The champion each year receives naming rights to the league and conferences until the following season. The name must have a connection to the owner's favorite team and the conferences after players from the owner's favorite team.

- The Committee on Rules & Changes is responsible for making changes to the league. Members are Matt Kufta, Heath Boyd, Jerome McDonald, Josh Norris, Kirby Kalbitz, Marcus Wallace, Scott Bell, Seth Cornelson, Vaughn True and Zachary Hance.
